Veronica Nigh, Senior Economist, the Fertilizer Institute
Veronica Nigh serves as the Chief Economist at The Fertilizer Institute, where she provides economic and policy analysis on issues critical to the fertilizer industry. Before joining TFI for over a decade, Nigh was a Senior Economist at the American Farm Bureau Federation. Prior to AFBF, she provided economic and policy analysis on international trade issues as an International Economist at the USDA Foreign Agricultural Service.
Veronica grew up in agriculture in the Show-Me state. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Economics from the University of Missouri and a Master of Science in Economics from American University. She resides in the Washington, DC area with her husband and two barely contained young sons.
